Hey everyone... pretty new to this or any other site like this. I've never had a car that i was proud enough to show off. My last car was a P.O.S '00 ford taurus, and it died. I was out of a car for 2 months. I found a civic in my price range and have loved it since the second i bought it. I have such big dreams to make her look as good as i can, but i unfortunately have nothing in my wallet to back up those dreams.

if anyone has a set of 4 rims with tires for, oh say $23.75, ill take them just kidding. but seriously

Hey thanks man!! I will post some pics as soon as i get my camera from home. Im not super mechanically inclined so I dont know how much ill be doing with the motor or trans, but I want to get some nice, not too flashy, maybe 17" 5 spoke rims make it look clean, tint the windows... more to come once i get some $.

17s may look a bit big on your civic, especially if you want to lower it at some point.

Just FYI, your engine, the D17, barely gains any power from modifications, so you might want to spend money elsewhere, like on suspension and such

leeder, slam the car on some 15in rims. i had 17s on my coupe and hated them. 15s on my crx are just right. the ride is so gnarly on 17s, and the dont look hot in my opinion. catback exhaust, tint the windows, and voila. looks good, cheap ins, great gas mileage.

 

@ ibanez... first of all, RAUUUULLLLLLLLLL, ok now that thats out of the way, i love your car. really clean looking. I wish mine was a coupe but it was my only opportunity at that moment to buy a civic so i love it anyways.

@Mbrent yeah i was looking at civics with 17s and it looks kinda weird. 15's sound better... what color (other than chrome or silver) look good on a silver car? Gunmetal seems too dark and i havent seen a silver civic with white rims so i dont know how that would look.

Unfortunately i got hit on the expressway on my way back home from college on our fall break yesterday and now i have a huge dent in my rear passenger door, quarter panel, hubcap and bumper posting a picture in my album in a minute... it just sucks cuz i havent had it for more than a month and a half
