I am now selling my 2000 gt-s celica and bought a smashed up 2001 ex civic.. Hit hard in the front, maybe i'll post some photos as I do the fix. I'm sure i'll be here askign for places to buy after-market parts.

I guess i'm no longer a toyota guy... what a weird change.

if you are going to be modding a civic that 01 is one of the worst platforms to do it with. Find a smashed up EK (96-00) instead.

thanks for the heads up. What little i've been cleaning and prepping, it I'm just not naturally impressed, I've had trouble finding low cost parts for it compared to the generation behind it, maybe that's part of the reason?

My dad and I buy cars through auctions and normally sell them, I may look into something else then to replace my gaudy Celica, I've got a '99 Accord 2 door LX, has an aftermarket sunroof and VTEC naturally. Or maybe an '03 Lancer. Just gets worse mpg than the civic or my celica

I almost feel dirty getting a Honda.

Question...

How would you rate the generation behind it's hatchbacks (96-2000)?
