HCF virgin
Hello everyone!Just wanted to say hey and introduce myself and my ride.Got my civic from my girlfriend when I traded my 78 elcamino for a four door family ride.I've always been into cars, mostly the v8 gm variations.Ive owned a few Hondas in the past, but stockers.Never was much interested in tuning them, they were easy on gas and ran forever.I've owned an 87 crx(actually wish I still had that one),an 87 hatch, and a 88 fur door.I've also owned a coupla mazdas, but hondas were closer to my heart.Anyway,my ride as of now is an 89 civic hatch, stock engine(1.5?),cold air intake, with weight delete, haha!green interior with red piping(gag)As soon as I get my pics up you'll see.I will appreciate any helpful hints, comments, news, or tips as I'm a honda virgin. Thanks all, hope to be around awhile.

RE: HCF virgin
Thanks,I appreciate it.Actually I just did upper and lower ball joints, while the axle was replaced,so the front end is good and tight.I also just found out, while rotating the tires, that someone ran 2" exhaust from the cat back,so I was a little tickled about that.Looks mandrel bent, too,no kinks!!Anyway, now my plans include a header, high flow cat,and then rims.I can't have the cold air intake trying to blow through the cast iron manifold, huh!!What makes a v8 run applies to these things also,as common sense tells me.I also read that the coils are weak on hondas too,so I want to get an msd external coil cap so I can run an accel or msd 45,000 volt external coil!!!As Tim Allen would say MORE POWER R,R,R,R! The rims I want would be 16or17's,black preferably, but not picky.I'm in Ohio,so rims are scuffed or salt eaten if cheap, but justice will prevail!!Well, thanks for welcoming me,I do have pics up now, will have more as work progresses, let me know of any deals you may run across, and again,Thanks!
