yeah, the trannies are kind of the weak point of racing hondas. ive seen a few race ones for the b-series, but i dont know much about what they consist of. but on the bright side, d-series trannies can be had pretty cheap. just keep your eyes open, and while you dont need one, you can pick up a couple of spares for cheap. also, look into getting the gears shotpeened and then rebuild the trannies with all new syncros and all that. i dont know of any dbl or triple syncro sets for d series. or b series for that matter. i think quaife makes a b series tranny, but last i saw, it cost around 16000, so i dont think that would be an option anyway.
mmmm, quaife. 6-speed, dog-tooth, sequential with custom gear ratios and their most advanced differential. mmmm.

As I said before I have done a few frankinsteins.IE-Ford t7 to supra with the ford rear,I have had a toy truck that I converted into 4-runner thatI converted into chevy drive train, bla, bla, bla.
Kewl what a country boy can learn with all that time on his hands.I've done many things just never involved honda.I found them weird cause they run backwards. But now I find it challenging(?).
