Hello Everyone
Hello everyone!! I am new around here.
This will be an odd story so hold your torches and pitchforks till the end.
I have a 1992 honda civic. This civic has brought more laughs and joy in to peoples lives than anything.
Brief history.
We bought this civic for $200 dollars, no title, not street legal. We bought it for a race competition at our local drag strip called Junkyard wars. The competition is to buy prep and race a car for under 500 bucks. We bought it with the cheap ebay coils, suspension arms and bracing already installed. Painted it orange and painted the wheels blue to match the valve cover. As a theme for the car we came up with the greatest General Lee replica ever devised.
We didn't win anything we laughed until we hurt. Never has there been so much fun at a drag strip.
After the competition the car sat for 2 years in my front yard. until the idea sparked to make a mud car. We fabbed up a 5 inch lift, machined some toyota wheels to fit and put some 27 inch mud tires on it.
This car has seen more mud then most trucks, and goes through mud holes better then several aswell. It has conquered, sand, mud, 4x4 courses and the like.
So far we have broken a timing belt at 200k, broken an axle due to a split cv boot. And flooded it up to the seats. This car has been deemed unkillable.
The next steps are a snorkle and and exhaust extension to avoid water damage. WE plan to build a few more to make a civic fleet.
Before you hate, This car is not road legal and would of been chopped up for parts.
This car brings more smiles and laughs than anything. We get stopped everytime we drive it on the trails for pictures/ stories.
everyone loves this car
