I need help on a 2000 honda civic si. The car has 28,650 miles on it. I am the third owner of the car. The first guy babied the **** out of it. The second guy used the car to go to work. The cara started messing up on me when i had it for three weeks. When the car is idle, the temperature goes up. Can anyone help me...

 

with the car cold check the level of the coolent if the level is ok there could be leaks in the system. if that was ok start the car let it warm up then check to see if the fan turns on (without the a/c) if the fan turn on and it still gets hot turn it off. then you can have other prob's thermo getting stuck not opening. try doing these things frist if you have not already done it.
