Default Help?

Hows it going all. I just needed some help, almost a kick in the right direction if you may.

Here's my story in a nut shell. I just recently got out of the navy, moneys tight right now but by sept. oct. timeframe I plan on having this solid job I am supposebly guarenteed. Thats another story

Here's the deal. I have a 1994 civic ex.
Not many mods, hardly any at all but heres a list

17" excel rims, yokahama esavs100 tires
bombz cold air intake
B.S. 4-2-1 headers
magnaflow exhaust
carbon fiber m3 mirrors (but I need new ones, they were an experiment more then anything)
new JVC head unit
aftermarket speakers all around
2 amps + 2 12" rockford fosgates in the trunk
i started painted my interior from standard gray to black w/ white trim (although the white is getting changed the royal blue hopefully)

What direction should I go in? I plan on putting a B16 maybe (very slim chance) of putting a K-20 in

Im just started to get into the whole customization scene, was too busy ducking my head trying not to get shot by Osamas boyfriends. Any info would help tons.

Oh and the direction I am going towards is more show, but definitley want some solid speed on her.

Thanks for reading and any help.

Default RE: Help?

spend your money on a turbo kit for your ex. a greddy kit will be a good kick in the pants for you and it would be faster than sticking a b series in it and having no money for mods. b16 swap would be about 1500-2500 depending on how much stuf you need. a turbo kit for you would be like 1000-1500 and make more power

Well turbo right now would be trying to run without crawling first. I want to take baby steps. Besides instead of getting a turbo for the stock 1.6 Ill just get the B series, then put a turbo on that. I plan on keeping the car for a while.

But as far as a turbo goes, too soon to install one.

if you are going for show, you could do a body kit, carbon hood, custom paint job,underglow/inner glow, vertical doors, there is just so much you could do, but it is all a matter of how much you are willing to spend, me i am going for more go then show for now, i to am doing a b16 swap, within like 2 months from now, but abuot them mirrors, are you going to sell them? if so, i might be interested!!!

Eh you don't want the mirrors I got. They were experiment ones, and looking at them now, you can tell. You can get them off of ebay for 30 bucks. Ide give them to you, but theyre in that bad of condition.
