well ,stock engine with some mods. cant really tell you if its a v-tec or not , if its an EX then yes its a v-tec. my best advice is to swap that soch 1.6l for a B series like a B16 or a B18 aka GSR. i own a 00 civic ex model and i swapped my d16 for a B18c1 or GSR and i love it.and for 3,000 its a pretty good deal. good thing is u have a good strong base to start working.

hahah yah the body kit is already for sale...well i planned to do a swap but if this motor is already vtec i was gonna play with it for a little while but i will probably just start doing swap soon then. How much would it cost do a b16 swap?

it just depends on how much u get the motor for and if you got people to help you do the swap it'll reduce the cost big time. look around at salvage yards or something and see if the have any b16's if not im sure someone here knows a place where u can buy one for a decent price
