well the 99 civic has a del sol "heart" (vtech)( lower) and the head is the 99 civic ex (upper)(vtech)

i can get a del sol for $200.00 it over heats and thats it. but im not sure if i get it id fix and sell.

so it's a D16Z6 block with a D16Y8 head?

ya sure ...lol here we go talken japanesse.lol no ugh ya i think it is acually. im going to church today ill get out at 12 and then ill come home and get back to work on it ill ask my buddy what it is code wise and ill get back to you on that.

lol, alright

(for the block, the code is inscribed on the front of the block, directly right of the transmission and directly left of the exhaust manifold.)

for the head you'll have to ask your friend

ya well i forgot to gte back on my bad. ok yes its a d16z6 block with a d16y8 head. BUT..... tonight we ran into a prob we got everything in - the shift linkage... no biggy. but we didnt take in consitration (sp) that the intake manifold is for a auto tranny reason beening in the back theres the air to gas sensor its in a different spot then the manual version and also its different looking. so its throwin a code there. so now i have to find a different intake manifold or i might get a supercharger (top of the line and new at that). but i dont know yet.

get a nice aftermarket intake manifold... edelbrock or venom

i'd do turbo instead of supercharger... cheaper, easier, better results
