generally speaking but not all(covering my *** here so i dont get flamed) most aftermarket suspension mods stiffen up the suspension, reducing ride quality but increasing handling capabilities, so no it would probably decrease your ride quality and 18's wreck your ride quality completely. try 16s or 17s

since when was *** not censored out?

yeah don't put 18's on a civic, and especially since you said you don't plan on lowering it, anything over 15" on a non-lowered civic just looks goofy and 18's usually look questionable regardless on that small a car. 15's or 16's is my vote, looks nice and clean (within reason, chrome rims for example don't look good on civics) and you don't have to lower the car much to get rid of wheel gap. I love my 15" Si rims, but would also like some clean 16's

i have a 2 sets picked out that i really like they are both white, and 16s
my friends think thats stupid but i like them, but now i need to find a place to get them for a decent price kuz 300 a piece not including tires or shipping or any thing is far to much
