Default Hi folks....new on the site

Hello all Civic fans.

Just a quick intro as I can imagine I will use this forum a lot as I love civics.

My Names Dan , I live in Manchester in the U.K

I own a rare model ( I think its rare anyway as not much on the net about them, and also I have only ever seen mine) 1987 Civic GTi, and its in pretty good condition, its red, its on about 110,000 miles , and I love it to bits. Its the 1.5i engine, but it is really quick compared to other cars with bigger engines, and its also really economical. I also own a mazda mx5 1.6 , the civic is much quicker, but does not handle as well.

I will post some pics up of the civic soon

Dan

Cheers for the welcome ....

And its definitely 100% a GTi , I have the logbook which states it , and also I checked with honda as I thought it may not have existed as its a ballache to get parts for, its not listed many places, but they looked into it and took chassis number and it is a GTI. No idea how many they made but everyone always says at 1st that there is no civic GTi.
