Default Hi, and I need some Help

Hi, My name is Gustavo, I live in Costa Rica, and I am the ownner ofa Civic 96, 1.600 cc, Dx, automatic, I love my car.
I have some problems with the temp, first I changed the fan Sensor, second we wash the radiator, and changed the thermostat, and for sometime the car didnĀ“t have problems, but I have the same problem now, not always, sometimes when I am in a traffic Jam, after 30 mins the temp stars to go up, butwhen I run again the temp goes normaly. Ihad seen theCoolant Level and some times needed like a"Whiskey Glass" of coolant, I refilled and the problem disapears for a time, there`s something strange, the coolant aux, always is full, and the radiator send the coolant to it.

Please let me know your opinion.

Gustavo

could you have a backflow problem to your auxillary coolant resivour? I've never heard of something like that, but I suppose it could happen.

find out what keeps the main resivour coolant from getting there...check the hayne's manual.
