Default hi, i'm new here was up

hi guys i'm new here ,i have a 99 ex civic coupe. hey does anybody here know what maintnance does a LS/Vtec require to keep it stable and reliable.what kind of problems can ppl encounter in a LS/Vtec malfuncsion or failure

hey bro welcome to the family...i wouldnt suggest ls/vtec because of the fact that i have heard many bad stories about them..i know one common problem with any frankenstien is theyhave trouble keeping in oil..the headgaskets are known to leak..other then that im not sure of common problems..i thinki have heard that its easy to spin the main bearing..some of the guys here will help u out with more info..and again..welcome u will like it here

Nice. I don't like body kits, but I think you did a good job with that car. I like the matching model civic too.

Nice car, but is just me or can you actually see straight through the front fender on picture three? Gave me sort of a plastic fantastic feeling.. Apart from that, a great looking car.

the reason why you can see through my front bumper is cuz the inerliner(that black plantic in my fender well)fell out the first time i took it to work after i put in the body kit

just get a GSR motor. youll love it! and you will like the reliability over that 2-3 pound feet of torque that the GSR is down from an ls vtec. just do a Spoon or Mugen head gasket, youll beat ls/vtecs with just that.


and thats a pretty clean car considering the kit. good job!

im not a fan of body kits that arent done right, and urs is so nice job. i say get wheels next, then the motor.
