all are tuner friendly, one with a vtec engine will give you the most power out of your mods

Unless you wanna go turbo, then don't go with a V-tec

Had a friend with an LS turbo and bolted on a GSR head and gained 30HP

The compression in a Vtec is already high, better off to turbo a non-Vtec

you put a turboed ls up against a turbo gsr and see who makes more power. you will have higher boost numbers on the ls, but not necessarily horsepower.

Your right about compression but a VTEC will work so much better with a turbo. The cams are bigger so you can feed the engine more fuel to go along with all the new air the turbo has supplied. ALso the redline is much higher and turbos love more rpms
