Found this forum thanks to google. I'm here on behalf of my daughter, who bought a clean little '98 Civic EX back in November. Cute car -- 2 door, came with a pretty set of brushed finish mag wheels, and has the higher output motor that was available for Civics back then. So it's reasonably peppy and has been a nice car so far, but at last the time has come to seek out others with more knowledge than me to find answers for some questions that are beginning to stack up.

Me, I'm a former Honda Civic owner. Back in 1986, I bought a '78 Civic (with the 1500 CVCC engine) and used it for my basic transpo car. Went durn near everywhere in that thing and did all my own maintenance, thanks in large part to the wonderful John Muir publication for the CVCC Hondas. But I know very well that it was an entirely different animal from the post-CVCC Civics, so I get to start all over again.

So anyway, just thought I'd drop in to say "hi," and then I'm off to post a question about this Civic's electric fan operation. See ya on the boards.
