Default im only a newbie

Hey there! i have a 96 civic VTi-R and i just got some coilovers for it, would anyone be able to help me out on how to install them? thanx heaps

Check the DIY section and the Suspension section, do a search for install.

i believe you have to jack the car up to drop the load on the suspension but i dont know where to go from there. do what chimera said

i think it will be a little hard if you dont have any experience, iv seen them and helped install lowing springs and such a bunch of times and i still dont think i would attempt it by my self without somone there that knows how to do it with me...but if you want to try yourself i would recommend going to the auto store and buying a haynes maual for your car (like $15) and it will walk to step by step on taking them apart and putting them back on

Are you chaning just the spring or the sturts? It shouldn' t be too hard. There are four bolts on the strut tower and i think 2 bolts on the control arm. Take those bolts out and the strut should come out. I've taken the suspension (struts) on a old POS baretta that we are taking apart. I don't really have any experiance putting them on (i've only taken struts out once). But get a manual like Mills said, they help out.
