Default Just bought a 2000 SI

HEY!
Damn, I just bought a 2000 Civic SI for $7,800 and I love it! I knew a dealer at a dealers only auction and he hooked me up, it is so sweet. The pick up is amazing, especially at 5RPM, VTECH kicks in. Im totally psyched. I have never owned a 5 speed, just driven friends, so its pretty exciting. I think parallel parking may be an issue at first though, hehe. Just curious what you all think about the SI's. I havent heard much about them, nor seen too many, I guess honda didnt make too many of this edition, but it is SOOO SWEET. Anyway! Just let me hear your opinions! Its black and in perfect shape, only downside is that it has 100000 miles, but then again, its a Honda.....so yea! Later. PS- ill post pics once I get them.

hehe, Bowling Green Kentucky, and even though its a big college town (WKU) it can be hell when youre looking for something to do, except parties. We used to have a big underground racing group that I went too every saturday night when i was like 16 and still drove my 97 Sunfire, lol, but even that has kinda disbanded, or ive just lost touch cause my car sucked. Hopefully, Ill find some enthusiasts here now that I have a sweet ride though.

100k miles? I laugh when I hear something like that. I bought my BMW with 200k. So don't worry about the mileage, worry about fluid changes, belts, and spark plugs - it's a honda, that's all there is to say.

LOL why the GRRRRRRR?! I feel like its Christmas, its horrible. My dealer friend hasnt given me the car yet cause my dad went to Vail, CO for the weekend to ski with his wife and he wont be back until tuesday to sign the damn co-sign for the loan, SUCKS *****. So here I am, knowing that there is a civic SI with my name on it 5 miles away, just sittin in a lonely parking lot begging to be driven this friday night!!!! IM SO DAMN ANXIOUS. The dude lets me test drive it whenever I want, but I havent gotten to take it home yet. SUCKS! Anyway, insurance is 221 a month and the car payment is 200 a month, weird ehh. Im paying for it all for myself too, and im 18 and have my own apartment. It should be paid off at the end of this year cause Im getting about 5k cash in mid october "my father has a farm and I help so when he sells the baby cows, I get moneys for helping". So after this year Ill be able to mod it a little, but I dont know what I want first!

an intake first. but grrrr because of VTECH. its spelled VTEC, it stands for Variable valve Timing with Electronic Control.

Well, Variable valve Timing and lift with Electrionic Control to be exact... but who's counting.
