Default just bought a turbo civic want advice

i just purchased a 97 civic coupe with an si motor it has apr head studs, stock internals as far as i know, a greddy turbo kit with evo turbo 18g turbine, msd ignition, greddy intake manifold, 440 injectors a 255 walbro fuel pump and a few others. My issue is its only pushing 5psi max and its already tuned but i cant get any more power out of it. its at 220 whp any suggestions on what i should do to make more power or push more boost?

First off, you can't shouldn't go much higher boost wise with stock internals..If you want more boost or horsepower you need to rebuild your block with stronger internals...

yeah i figured i was going to have to do that im just trying not to pull the motor because this is my daily driver...if i was to pull it assuming im doing most of the work myself what changes should i make to the head, im thinking new cams pistons and rods going for low compression.

Well for the HEAD, you won't change pistons or rods as they are in the block...but you should also do Valves, springs, retainers, cams, pistons, and rods should be what you need to change...

man, 220whp is a great number in a DD Civic! I'd rock it as is and enjoy the potential longevity.

yeah i priced out a bunch of brand stuff and its looking like 2000 before re tuning it. If i build the motor do you think it will still last?

DD that keeps being said means Daily Driver (or Daily Driven, depending on context).

$2000 sounds about right for a decent build. When you build a motor, skys the limit...all depends on how deep your wallet is, and how much time you've got to do it right.
