I was looking for a new 2008 Civic Si and came upon a used 2007 with 8,000 miles. I had no intention of buying a car that day, but it seemed like a good opportunity and I snapped it up.

A red sedan. I traded in a 2000 Nissan Altima with an auto transmission. Still getting used to shifting again... and to the six speed. I've missed the gate while downshifting a couple times. Just get stuck in neutral while I feel for the gate. I've had it less than 24 hours, but what a blast to drive.

I also have to get used to an engine that lives between 5,000 and 7,500 RPMs. Just not used to winding a car out that much.

I've had more time behind the wheel and it is quite the thrill ride once you hit about 5,500 RPMs. Gotta be careful to keep this puppy on a leash or there will be a ticket in my future... and red is a police magnet. The handling is super. You can really carve up a road.

Congrats. I just got a new '08 Si sedan. I got rid of a Hemi Ram truck for this car. A lit bit different but this car is much more fun. I'm waiting to hit the 600 mile break-in period so I can really start wailin on it.
