keyless entry 1996 Civic
Hi all.
The car is a 1996 Honda Civic Lx. I bought this car used and it did not have a keyless entry. I bought one on eBay and am not being successful at programing it to the car. The tiny red light at the top comes on when I press a button.
I found the intructions that said to push the valet disarm button beween the tape/cd button and AM/FM button.
After putting the key in II, holding the button, the locks should cycle, but they don't... It just site there, nothing happens. Power locks work fine..
Thoughts?

I'm having the same problem and its driving me nuts, the exact same problem as described above, I have a 1997 honda civic si with power locks and stock radio and I can't figure out for the life of me how to get this to work!
