Default Looking for Lots of Opinions...

Hi everyone...Obviously I am new to the forum, I'm really glad I have found it tho... I have a 2005 Honda Civic LX with a Standard Transmission. There is a bunch I want to do with it but I'm kinda looking for opinions with what would be best, best place to start things of that nature. I know I'm going to have to spend quite a bit of money but I bought it as a project car. I'd kinda like to jump into a k20/k24 Frankenstein with a sequential twin turbo set up to explain the engine change i know that with that i need to switch the exhaust, headers, fuel injectors, and things of that nature; but that's it in a nut shell. The car will be pretty much for street driving but i drive massively aggressively and desire that get up and go.... My motto has always been go big or go home and I'm the kind of person that goes through the trouble if it means making the best or the biggest set up when it comes to anything... I know a little about what I'm doing but am always on the look out for new knowledge and opinions to help me out... ready set go...

~Jakkerus

*Thanks for any and all input*

truthfully i'd sell it, and buy an 08 or 09 Si, so then you'd already have the k20, and then do your twin turbo setup on that.
plus, you wouldn't have to worry about running into any unexpected maintenance problems because it'd be pretty much brand new. Without running into those random problems you'd be kept on track of your project more.

might cost about the same too, because you could use the money from selling the 05 to partially buy the Si, and the price difference would probably equal the price/trouble of putting the k20 in your 05

your right and i get what you are saying but i don't like the body styles of the newer civics they just look like a wedge on wheels that why i shot for the 05 plus i got it otd for 10k so i wasn't to concerned about it... on the other hand are there any ways to make this project better? and has anyone done a swap or built an engine like that, that would have any tips or maybe a write up?
