N00b looking for info.
Hello everyone, my name is Chad and I just purchased a custom 1992 Civic Hatch. I'll post some pictures up later if I get time. I'm just wondering a few things about the car.
I am wondering what model my car is CX,DX,EX?
All the badges are shaved and I forgot to ask the guy who I bought it from.
The only info I could give you is that under the hood it has a sticker which a bunch of chinese writing and it says D15.
So if anyone could tell me solely from that or anywhere I could look on the car I would appreciate it.
Thanks

RE: N00b looking for info.
look for the engine type marking next to the header, should be D15B# or D15Z# or D16Z#
D15Z1 = VX
D15B7 = DX
D15B8 = CX
D16Z6 = Si
That's one step towards figuring out model.
Alternatively, the VIN number can be used to narrow it down

Well on the hood it says D15B with no number. It may be an aftermarket hood because it has a scoop on the hood, but then again the previous owner may have just molded in the scoop, I don't know.
I can't find any marking near the header, just on the bottom of the hood.
So from cdarelow's information i've narrowed it down to a DX or CX. I am still curious on knowing the exactly model.
Could you give me information on how I could figure it out from the VIN. Also the car has no a/c, no power locks or windows.
Any other suggestions?

RE: N00b looking for info.
there's also a potential for it being an engine swap
as for the engine identifier plate, it's possible it's not visible due to gunk/dirt on engine... I know on mine, you really have to look
