New 2008 EX Owner!
Hi all - last week I asked a question about the window switches in 2008 Civics - and I bought mine Saturday! First impression is that it's a great car, and I look forward to driving it for a long time! Mine is a 2008 EX, Atomic Blue Metallic in color, with a 5-speed.

Thanks, it's a great car so far! I really like it... now I wish all those other drivers on the road would leave me the hell alone! I had 2 people each try TWICE to wreck my car today... I guess the brakes are broken in now :\
If my truck had gotten good gas mileage, I'd still have it - nobody f-ed with me in that thing!

Don't feel bad, I had my car (black one) 18 hours and got hit in the rear/side bumper by a guy in an F150 that blew a tire. I cleaned off the tire marks and buffed out the scratches, but the bumper isn't quite as flush to the car as it should be, although no one notices but me. I am going to get that fixed when I get the motivation. His insurance company gave me a check for $450, so I made out but I was PI$$ED when it happened.

Yeah, back in August of 2000 (Saturday, the 13th), I bought a 2000 Focus ZX3, and was all happy ... for 2 days.
Monday, I drove to lunch, and the girl at the window dumped a coke down the driver's door, then going back to work, a MARKED POLICE CAR ran into me, no lights, no sirens, it was either hit me, or the busted-*** Volvo in front of him, since he was tailgating. What a dumbass. He was a city cop, so the city paid to have my brand new car fixed... $984 OUCH!!! Of course, now I know what happens to wrecked vehicles when trade-in or selling time comes, so I wouldn't let them get away with *just* repairs, but loss of value too!
Of course, I've had this car almost a week, and the night I bought it, someone rested their front license plate against my rear bumper (left no scratches, thank God, otherwise, I would've knocked on their door and gotten their info.), and then Wednesday night a guy rubbed his hands on the roof (which was covered in pollen and rainwater) to get his hands wet. I went off on him, and then went home and washed the car, and will be waxing it this weekend.
