New 2008 LX - Hey Dealer.. No wax please !
Hello everyone,
Early July we picked-up our new Civic LX Coupe.. we love it and my 3rd Honda. This time I
bought it my way. Got the Honda promo of 1.9%, dealer had no Civic Coupe's in stock but
traded another dealer for what I wanted. Got the extras I wanted, had the window's tinted, a must here in Florida, and barely was able to stop him from waxing the car. My tip for all of you who live in a harsh climate. Go Acrylic from the showroom. Wax jobs in Florida simply melt and get sticky. New cars look faded after a year. First day we got our new ride we applied a full Acrylic jacket and maintain it every two weeks with a spray on acrylic shield. I use Menzerna from Germany, OEM on new BMW's and Mercedes. I'll never wax again. Anyway thank-you all, added a couple of pics for you'all to see. At 3500 miles, we go full synthetic. Thanks, Gatorboy
