Hello, We just bought a 97 Civic EX for our 16 year old. This is our 4th Honda

Good choice for the car, he wont kill himself if it is bone stock and your insurance and repairs will cost low. We are glad to have you. You should get your son into this forum to help him learn alot more about his car since there is alot to know about it.
