Red face New Driver and Civic Owner (Any Other Females Here?)

So my 1995 Civic DX Coupe is my very first car and I've fallen in love with it! I'm in the Navy and stationed overseas and I bought my car from a guy in my shop who PCS'ed to another duty station. I've loved his car since I first saw it and I told him I would have it! I bought it with 172,000 miles on it.

He upgraded the car with black rims, a great sound system, DVD player, new exhaust, and custom paint. I definitely plan on upgrading it some more, I want to change out the head and tail lights and add another subwoofer, it currently only has one, but it his hard as hell still! I also want to get a body kit put on it.

If some of you guys have any suggestions or advice such as what to get and what not to get, feel free to tell me! As I said this is my first car and I want to do right by it! Also, are there many other females on this board?

hey!! nice to see you joined! let me be the first to welcome you to HCF =)
thats a good first car, where are the pictures??? haha

stay away from the body kids, PLEASE!!
all you need to do is, get a front lip, type in google "eg mugen lip" and then some fig lights, and then you could lower the suspension.

and as for more females...i think there are a few, but not many

(edit: i just saw your pictures...yes for changing your tail lights hahah and you should take off the huge spoiler..that is all haha )

welcome to HCF.

Post some pics of the civic. Also i would highly suggest a lip kit over a body kit.

That looks really clean! Hard to find those in good condition. Can't say I'm too crazy about the wing or lights, but it's your car! As long as you do everything right, I can respect it

I really want to change the lights on it, but the way the Italians drive here makes me think it'll be a waste of money. I'm definitely going to change them once I get back to the States.

Funny thing about the wing, it blocks cars in my rear view mirror. It's like I can only see wheels behind me. I don't like it being so big, but it'll have to do until I get a new one!

Welcome to the forum. I am too lazy to look and find pics in a garage or w/e.

Ok, I'll just post some!

LOL, I'm starting to think my friends like the sound system better than me...
