Found you while doing a search. I have a 1996 Civic EX that I bought new for my ex-wife. I got it back during the divorce and shortly after (within a couple days) the motor started rattling. Mechanic I took it to said he had never seen anything like it. Anyway he replaced the motor with a used motor and everything was great. I drove it back and forth to work for about 2 years about 40 miles round trip. I lost my job and I wasn't really using it much in the last year so about 6 months ago I parked it. I have a freind that is in need of a car and I figured that this would help them out until they could get back on thier feet. It's not the prettiest car in the world but it is cheap to drive. Anyway, it would not start. I have replaced the battery and terminals but still nothing. . The starter doesn't even turn over. Anyone have any ideas. I am trying to help someone out and really don't want to spend alot of money on it!
