Default new guy

Just wanted to drop in and say hey. im new to the forum and civics grew up on the bikes and jeeps so its a whole new world to me. Ive been readin some posts and i think ill like it here.

99 lx all stock, would like to clean it up has some body cancer around the drivers side rear quarter but not to bad. new paint either keep it black or maybe go silver. some 17s a cool air intake, exhaust oem fog lights new lights all around actually. I don't intend on making it a race car just want it to look like a tight little package all around. ill throw up some pics shortly one i find my camera.

i think that engine is a vtec engine. and i dont think any Lx came with that.
so maybe previous owner replaced the engine or something lol

Welcome to the site! Nice Civic, other than that rust. That's pretty bad, you must live in an area that gets a lot of snow and the roads are frequently salted. And I saw you said you wanted 17's, I would recommend not getting any wheels bigger than 16 inch. Anything over that looks out of proportion on a Civic, and it will ruin your ride quality. Check out Rota or Drag, both companies make some nice clean looking wheels

alright thanks guys. so is that not the stock engine? lol like i said total noob to civics so no clue. and Jwmm thanks for that insight i started to look around a little bit more and decided i much prefer the look of 16s your right about proportion. as for the snow....i hate michigan lol.
