Default New guy from sd

hey guys, im new here but just wanted to say you guys have a nice setup here. I like looking around, i am not really as into modification as just information. i have a 1992 Civic LX with 470,000 miles. The car still drives nicer than some newer cars ive drove, so i find trouble getting rid of it. I'm just amazed at what these cars can do and how good they are, its nice being around a bunch of people who agree!

I'll get some pictures of it up soon. I am the second owner, the majority of the miles were put on before me. I have every service record since day one in a file (if you can imagine, its a damn big file!) The guy before me drove it 200 miles round trip per day, so it had a new tank of gas every day as well as a car wash, and an oil change every week. He didn't keep up on the first timing belt change and it broke and bent a rod at 150k. The motor was rebuilt, and since then the only things that have been replaced were minor like distributor cap, and fuel pump. in the last couple weeks it has developed a slow oil burn and is drinking a bit of antifreeze, a quart of bars leaks later it has temporarily stopped so i can figure out what my next stop is. It has had another tranny. It is a 5 speed.

It has overheated on multiple occasions. Every time due to low coolant, so after about 6 times of having to go through the proper procedure to get it filled properly i decided to try this stuff. its already got me 1000 miles with is further than ive made before, but well see. I have a feeling i will be pulling the motor and rebuilding soon and then i can get it cleaned back out of there.

This is the only picture i have currently, i guess its just a plain blue civic..
