well i have a stock 1998 civic sedan....since i have been driving it for about 7 months now, i have been able to beat cars i never thought of beating...since these occurinces it has made me decide that this car has potential and i need to give it its full potential....im new to car modifications/performance ...so any advice would be appreciated.....im tired of the way it looks now so im thikin of gettin some bronze wheels 17", lower it and paint it white....i read an article where a guy had the same car as i did and got 400hp out of the stock engine...which has inspired me to attempt the same....so again if you have any suggestions feel free. thankyou

Well if your wanting 400 horses for sure a turbo with a shot of nos to spool it is where you'll be going.....def. not a N/A motor. Start off with the basics though, get an exhaust, cold air intake, and possibly headers. Decide if you'll be going turbo or nos before you spend the money on headers though. Those mods will give you a little extra, but the turbo is where you'd get a lot more hp gain.

Watch out, someone will nail you for saying "headers" and not "header"... hahah so lame... Post a pic of your car and have someone photoshop some aftermarket stuff on it. Welcome to HCF

WELCOME! well if ur really planning on getting some major power, stay away from I/H/E and just save up...the whole I/H/E is a waste of money if u plan on making big numbers.
