I was glad to finally find a forum specifically for honda civics. I'm sure this forum will be a great resource.

I have a '97 Civic LX that my dad gave me (he just got a brand new '04 Accord so I inherited this one). I've been driving it for a couple years now but I just got home from college and need a car, so it's mine now. It's a great car. 200k miles, but very reliable regardless. Everythingin it is stockexcept the muffler and catalytic converter, which wereplaced a couple years ago,and the clutch, which we replaced for the first time a couple weeks ago. The gearbox isn't the greatest as the gear ratios are a little too low, especially for highway driving, but it's a fun car to zip around town in. The steering and handling is great as you all know.
