the trans swap is a good way to go. when i blew out my dx trans, i dropped in an ex tranny and it dropped my Q/T over .5 sec. i was hangin with the 00 si all through 2nd gear. then it'd walk away from me. my 60 ft times were actually faster than the si.

 

save some money and just get one[sm=smiley2.gif]. Sorry... had to do it.
