Thumbs up New here, and semi-new to Hondas...

I am somewhat familiar with Honda's and other things relating, although I'm still a major noob to it all.

I recently purchased a 95 Honda Civic 2Dr. The funny thing about it was when I bought it, it had a bad turbo that had no filter, or even a screen on the turbo. So I replaced the turbo with a greddy turbo. Door locks didn't work, motor was a bad D15, Bad clutch (Still had some left to it, but when I swapped a D16 that I had around to make a quick fix for the bad D15, the clutch still worked, just slipped), and a bunch of other small things like the bumper was damaged and cut up. I got the car for $250, so that wasn't bad at all. And I have done a few things with it to make it look somewhat decent and running pretty well.

Also the wheels were spray painted black, which I removed with aircraft paint stripper... I did a half assed job since I'm buying new rims soon though.

I bought this bumper off of Craigslist for 10 bucks, fixed it up and good as new... Well to a point. This picture below is when i bought it, and at the very top is the picture after I worked on it for a bit.

I'll have more pictures later, I have done a few other mods to it since I took those pictures... And also, the current motor is a D16Z6, running on chrome, I know, a lame D series SOHC... But I don't mind it for now.

The things I plan on doing...

1. Motor Swap; H22a (Someone suggested a H23 with a H22 Head...) Or a K20.
2. Front end conversion
3. Turbo up the new motor (Any suggestions on what turbo to get?)
4. Re-Do the interior with better looking stuff.
5. A bunch of other small things...

Any suggestions or comments will be greatly appreciated!

I take that back... The D16 swap with the tranny had a worn clutch. Not the old D15.

Good thinking! I did already upgrade my breaks thinking I'd get the H22, but I guess I could push a little more cash out to get more.

By the way, which K20 motor would be the best? My friend told me a RSX type S would be the best, but I don't know what number I am looking for after the K20.

K20's are pretty sweet! Maybe a nice set of rims to go with it?
