Hi all, I am 23 and this is my first Honda Civic and also the nicest car I've owned up to date. I got this car for 7,000 USD, its a 2001 EX Coupe with 69,000 miles, it has a manual transmission with tinted windows and its a rally red color. The car has a sunroof, power doors, windows and ice cold A/C. It came with the factory CD player but I am replacing that with a Kenwood CD player/HD Radio with a USB in the front. The car didn't come with alloy wheels and I plan on buying a set eventually, I also plan on doing some body work to it, perhaps adding a lip kit or a body kit in the future.

According to Carfax it has a clean history and no alerts of any kind, its a one owner car (I am the second now) and it was driven around 12,000 miles a year. However it seems like the back quarter panel isnt the original, I see some spray paint marks on the trunk and there is a small leak where the panels and the frame meet (inside the trunk) which I am going to fix with some silicone within the next few days. Other than that the car has no rust and runs beautifully. It has a vtec engine and I plan on adding an after market air intake eventually.

I think I got a decent deal on it and I hope that it lasts me without me having to put too much money into it.

Change filters, plugs, belts, fluids, and worn or damaged parts before modifying your car. Last longer. First increase car handling feature (non specific).Next motor . Finally interior.Etc. These are only recommendations.

Are you using your car for every day driving?

The car has no problems whatsoever but I do plan on taking very good care of it (oil every 3000 miles, @ 100,000 miles I plan on doing a full tune up including changing the timing belt as well). This is also my everyday driving car, I bought it because of my new job, and I will have to get on the highway to get there everyday, so what better car to get than a Honda with these gas prices.
