New Member With A New Car.
So we have a 1992 Honda Civic DX 4 door 5 speed with 140k. So far we had to order a face for the alpine deck (cause it was missing) and we put in a K&N filter in the stock box yesterday. Cant wait to see what it does to the MPG. So far after the first 100 miles we clocked 37.4 MPG with the paper filter. Thinking we can hit 40 with the new filter. Think I might make a thread to show progress. Most people want to hop them up to go faster. I just want more MPG cause I have a fox stang if I want power. So the next upgrade on the radar is a full off road exhaust. The goal is 45 MPG or more. If this works I am buying another Honda for me as my wife likes this one.

i would finnish up the maintenance first oil,oil filter, plugs, oxygen sensors, fuel filter, trans fluid, trans filter. clean the throttle body,EGR,VTEC solenoid,PCV valve,IACV, then start modifications you could also remove the spare tires and tools for weight reduction and use high psi in your tires like 35-40 psi.

Oh I feel like a tool. When I looked up the MPG of this car on Google it said 34MPG. Wiki says 45 HWY MPG. Wow. Then I should shoot for 50. Great news but that also means its not running as good as I thought it was. Laundry list here I come.
