Well hello, I am new!

I am a 20 year old guy who just purchased his first new car. A 2007 Honda Civic LX Coupe on Saturday. I had been driving a 96 Ford Taurus since I was 16 so, as you can imagine, this is amazing for me.

Interesting story though. After leaving the dealership on Saturday, I wen't to a resturant with my friends. I go outside to start my car, and my key doesn't turn. Turns out that somehow my key "depreogrammed" itself so when I tried to start it, it shut the car down because it thought it was being stolen. Evidently it NEVER happens.

SO...they had to tow my brand new car back to the dealership. The dealershi[ wasn't open on Sunday, I was promised it back this morning(Monday) but I was called and told that I would have to wait until tommorow morning. But for the trouble they are tinting my windows for free. BUT STILL I WAN'T TO DRIVE MY CAR.

So now I am looking at pictures online and trying to pass time until tommorow.

Never the less I am excited! I am glad to be part of this community. I will post pictures tommorow!

 

That is brutal. Tell the dealership they can make up for it by upgrading you to an EX Have fun with your new Civic man.

Haha, I was VERY tempted to ask them to do that. I really liked the alloy rims on the EX. But alas, I kind of stretched my wallet getting the LX even (broke college boy..I am sure some of you understand).

But it will be worth it!

it must have been hard seeing your NEW car towed away..... welcome by the way, what color is your car?

 

Does like everyone get windows tinted here? How much are window tints usually for everything except the windshield.

 

yeah it was hard, I stayed and made sure he didnt mess it up when it was being towed.

I believe the official color name was Nighthawk Black Pearl. I call it black.

 

The dealership was asking like $300-ish. Not sure how good of a price it was, but its what they offered.
