Default New and NEED help!

Hi everyone, quick introduction
Names, Gregg
From Minnesota and have a 1998 civic ex and it's my first car

Probably not the spot for questions but I need something horribly.

A couple of "friends" got back at me for a prank by covering my car in food colored woman's maxi pads, no this is not a joke.
Well I saw it and cracked up it was funny to see that and all but once I started peeling them off they were leaving large marks and portions of them behind.
I have adhesive marks all over my paint now and half of them stuck cotton and the adhesive to my windshield. I need to know what to do. I have to work in a few hours as well and it will be sitting in the sun all day and I'm afraid if it will fade or ruin the paint and how I even get this off. It's ridiculous and if there's no good way to get it off I will be pursuing professional help and they will be paying for it. Long story short they aren't even taking this seriously so I will make them take this seriously.

Thanks so much!

Take it to a car wash, or power wash it.

Just tried car soap and warm water, did nothing. Its like having 30 bumper stickers carelessly ripped off my car and windshield if that helps the picture. Kinda like duct tape residue I guess.

Edit: After a good bit of reading and hearing a few suggestions I tried WD-40.
Took it off with a little work and followed behind it with meguiars show time quick polish to get it off.
If it worked and I still have a shiny paint job in the morning then cool. If not then someones getting me new paint. Gonna go with midnight blue or black hehe.

Goo-Gone would probably work great too.

Yeah, It seems to have come off with WD-40. Just washed it and no residue appears to be left behind on glass or paint so I think I'm good to go. Thanks
