I'd like to start out by saying, thank you for taking time to read this and here's the good stuff.

What I own now:

1995 Honda Civic DX 2dr Coupe
D15B7 with 108,000 miles
4-2-1 Stainless Headers and Cat-Back exhaust

Gift List for D15B7:

Underdrive pulley with 2nd Timing Belt change at 120,000mi
Cold Air Intake
Strut and Tie bars, upper and lower.
Short Shifter w/ weighted Type-R ****
Aluminum Clutch/Brake/Gas pedals

This is just to get me by in with the 1.5L until i do a H22 vtec swap

Im doing the Mini-Me vtec conversion, until I put together a H or K Series motor.

Here's what I need so far for the swap to go in nicely:

h22 motor with 5 spd tranny with added LSD plus ECU, wiring harness, intermediate shaft and CV shafts
ultra-thin h22 head gasket (all-motor)
stage II skunk2 vtec cams
OBX Intake manifold
stage II 68mm throttlebody
AEM V2 cold air induction
K&N hi-flo air filter
AEM fuel pressure regulator
AEM fuel rail
Fidanza ultra-light flywheel
stage II or III performance clutch
4-2-1 headers
2.5 cat-back to 3-3.5" muffler
8.5mm spark plug wires, iridium plugs
Underdrive pulleys, plus adjustable cam gears

with all those toys added to the 200hp stock motor, I should be pushing at least 250hp to the wheels.
0-60s in 5.5 seconds and low to sub 13s in the 1/4mi (easily) I could see it doing 12s if I had slicks and lightened the chassis

if anyone would like to add something, suggestions, comments, jokes, rants, criticizm, or appraisal... please feel free to beat my ego up! ) Hondas rule the road!

This is just a quick update, this is what I've done to my ride so far.

1995 Honda Civic DX - D15B7 Stock - Manual 5 Spd
4-2-1 Stainless Headers
Apexi Stainless Steel Cat-Back
3" Hi Flow Cold Air intake
10.5mm OBX plug wires
Front and Rear Tower and Tie end stabilizer bars
215/50/15R Kumo tire on ultra-light-weight 13lb. 15" (Black with Alum lip) Driftz

all this and I still get 35 mpg in the city

To Come;
- OBD1 ECU Chipped with rev-limit and speed limits off, forwarded valve timing
- Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator
- OBX Intake manifold
- Special "heat-shield" intake manifold gasket
- ultra-thin layered head gasket +.4 CR
- OBX fuel rail
- Blaster Coil with blaster coil distributor cap
- MSD dual stage ignition option, rev limit and launch setting

should get even better gas mileage when im finished with the D15b7. In the near future after that, I will probably sell the motor or stick it in a CRX or another Civic with a blown motor, drive it while I do a H22 swap then sell it... :P

doh!

Forgot to mention I installed a short shifter..

it makes a world of a difference in the feel of the transmission.

an execellent purchase with only requiring a few basic tools, and a good shop buddy, to install

{ i did the install on my own, I just thought it would have been easier with two people, one on top on the inside of the car tightening the bolts around the shifter, while the guy on the bottom end outside under the car is tightening those bolts or (in other words) holding the screws in place to be tightened by the guy on top}

if anyone has any questions about how much of a difference i felt or suggestion for another installation, let me know what you think and ask as many questions as you like, i'll get to them as soon as i can, take care.

its actually an EJ.

in 1992-1995, EG's are the hatchbacks, EJ's are the 2 door coupes, EH's are the 4-door.

I laugh when people call my EJ an EG.

Thank you, last time I checked I do have a trunk, not a hatch :P.

^ not true, my 93 Cx Hatch chassis code is EH2, the only EG that was factory to the Us/Canada was the Del Sol, all the hatchs had the chassis designation of EH, people just say EG cause that is what was in Japan for Chassis designation for the hatchs
