Default newb

ok so i have a black 99' civic ex ...but itsautoand it has afront strut bar and cold air intake. im gettin the rear strut soon. any ideas for some easy hp, performace,or visual upgrades (interior or exterior)?

i say stay with OEM its the best look i think. and as for hp it depends on ur spending limit.

its nice. just start small and save thats the only thing you can do. im saving right now for my motor which i should have hopefully by this summer. like right now i hate my motor it is just a d16y7 in other words slooooooow but thats ok i can wait and save.

thanks...yeah...im going to a junk yard this weekend to see if i can part a si spoiler and some sitail lightsb/c mine have the yellow in them that i dont like...and i want to take out the stock grill and replace it with a mesh one but me and my friend dont know how to take it out...any suggestions?

i would recommend some struts and springs or get some rims.
take the advice and start small, start saving everything and in no time you will have money to spend on big items.

Changing the grill requires taking off your front bumper. Ya gotta have your hood secured up and remove the 5 tabs from the top of your grill. There are two bolts on the bottom of the bumper you have to take off with a socket wrench. The lastscrews are in your wheel wells on the bumper side. Afterthat you should be able to pull out on the bumper cover and remove the clips that secure the grill to it. Save all thebolts/screws and reuse them. May even wanna go topep boys and buy some extra grill tabs in case you snap a couple. Make sure you have towels underneath your bumper so it doesn't get scratched when you take it off.
