Default Newbe From *Spokane Washington*

I just got my wife 98 civic HX, It does have some emissions issues. I have been reading the boards for about two weeks now.
I read a ton of good stuff in here. So I thought I would post.

OK, now that I have that out of the way.
Im not a newbe to working on cars. Just new to working on Honda's
Theses cars have a freaking sensor for everything.

I'm trying to bring pistons back into my life.

here's the Banger I'm a huge mazda Rotary Engine fan.

I have 79 RX7 13B FI T3T4 Trust Turbo aftermarket IC. Running the Mircotech LTX8's EMS. HKS waste gate turbonetics BOV
dynoed @ 6800 rmps 10psi 349 hp to the wheels.
I need to finish the exhaust from the DP back in 3" I need more flow.
Then we will re dyno her. The motor will Tach to 9000 RPM's no problem.

what a tough group. 44 views and not even a hello.

I'm mainly here to learn about my honda. I have worked on all types of cars, most of them being rotary engines. I use to race them a lot.
i was having some emissions problems, with the wife's 98 HX with a lot of reading, and help from mk378 forum member here. Thanks again for all your help. The car runs so much better now.

I have a lot a knowledge on doing turbo setups and superchargers . I can tune most the EMS. I myself have a Mircotech LTX'8, it's designed for the rotary motors.
I will post up some pictures of the honda when the weather is a little nicer.
You wouldn't want me to put pictures of a dirty car.

But for now i'm gonna post up, just a few picture of my rotary turbo setup.
Also is anyone in here from Washington State ? Just because i sure seen a ton of hondas at the race track.

Thanks for reading

I rebuilt this last summer. This motor is in my 85 Gsl-se

yes it is, Its a Camden supercharger with a 650 holley dbl. pumper. The car runs really good now, just needs some fine tuning. Here is a video of the first startup's

This THING is gonna be crazzzy. it will be running at 20 PSI of boost, after break in. It has a 3-5 psi pully on it now. in the video it has open pipes, It has a muffler on it now, but still loud as hell.

Sweet, very nice shiny engines you have there. I am also new to this site, pretty new to car mechanics and 4 stroke, but have some years of 2 stroke and small engine. I'm hoping to learn alot.

I thnk that you will like the honda civic if you have not been around them, especially that one. Those are my favorite model from that generation. I even like them more than the hatchy , which is very strange for me.

Thanks Guys,
Ganjar420 , If you like working on two stroke motors, I'm surprised you haven't played with the Rotary motors. they are kinda like two and four stroke engines.
In my one rx7 I blocked the (OMP) Oil metering pump, it got in the way of the turbo.
Now I have to premix the fuel with two stroke oil. The OMP system adds a little oil to the fuel, when you are in the gas. the oil just gives the rotors a little extra lube.
Rotarys are big on horse power, but really big with torque.
