Hey there all. i'm a newbie at this site but i have to say i've loved Civics since the start of when I could drive. I currently own a slightly modified 96' Honda Civic LX Sedan. Here's some work that I've done on it thus far....

- Arospeed Aluminum Bumper Wings
- OBX Custom Exhaust
- BOMZ Racing Cold Air Intake
- Razo Leather Shift ****
- Splitfire Spark Plugs

The output of this car is estimated at around 115 to 120 HP or so. I have trouble finding upgrade parts for my car since everyone makes parts for coupes or hatchbacks or SIs.... but they rarely make something for Sedans. Does anybody know if DC Sports makes a header for 96' to '98 Civic LX Sedans? Also, are there any other suggestions for my car in terms of upgrades(besides engine, i'm already considering the B16A (SiR-1) engine at a 160 HP and 111 lbs. of torque)?

dont even think about the SIR-I, its not worth the trouble of trying to get the obd0 engine to work in your obd2 car. at least get the obd1 SIR-II. not to mention youll still need the tranny from a 92 up b16. the SIR-I tranny wont work in your car.

And.... 111 lb/ft... sedan... call that an upgrade? You would need to keep it above 4500 constantly to have any fun. Plus all the stuff sacicons said...

yeah, a b16 feels about the same as a d16 till about 4-4500, so around town, a b16 isnt that special. but above 4500, DAMN. WAY better than the d. if you dont take it to the track and race it much, just go with an LS motor. 127 lb ft is a lot more fun for daily driving.
