Default Newbie with Si Want to swap to larger engine

Hi I have a 99' Civic si with exhaust and cold air intake but my mom recently drove through a deep puddle unaware of the consequences involved in the water being forced into the induction and bending the pistons. SO basically i have no engine now and would like to find out as much as possible about dropping in possibly and H22 from a prelude, i dont' know whatt this would involve or how difficult a proceedure it is thanks.

I don't think the H22 is ideal for the civic. The engine is too heavy and messes up the weight distribution on the car. Plus it sits lower in the engine bay... If I were you, I would go for the GSR engine. This fits much better (B series) and will be easier to add other things (like turbo).

go with the b20 (crv) engine..you get more power than the gsr's and less weight than the h22..also it's a b series so is *alot* easier than the h22 to swap in, which means either way lower install costs or way less pain in the a$$

the b20 has more torque but not horse power. i say b16 but either way is good, doesnt really matter if your gonna go turbo anyway.
