Thanks for not buying one of those massive tachs. They are gross IMO.

Have you considered buying a 99-00 SI cluster, or are you just looking at buying one from a LX/EX?

Currently bidding a lx cluster on eBay & watching a ex cluster as well. The Si cluster are nice but they want way to much for them. If I am gonna spend that type of money they are asking for a Si. I would buy a S2000 cluster.

How do you figure? An SI cluster will cost maybe like $225 ish. A S2k cluster (with pigtails) will cost at least $250. Then you need to wire it in, buy the speedohealer wire that in, by the ECT conversion thingy from modifry.com and wire that in, and then pray it all works correctly. Not to mention, mounted correctly since at the wrong angle, the LCD screen will not be that visible. You also would have to make a custom gauge cluster surrounding piece. The SI cluster is 100% plug and play and direct fit.

Good luck with what you go with!

With kitty hair and fiberglass and a digital multimeter / ohm meter anything is possible. But $25 dollar difference from what you just quoted it be worth the headache. But it's all good just won a lx gauge cluster with 53k miles for $89. So I am not complaining

Plus I got a dude in Cali said he knows a guy who could have sold me a Si cluster for cheaper then what they wanted on eBay. So I had a back up plan in the works if I got outbid. But since I won the lx cluster Just got to wait till it arrives next week the same time I take ownership of the hatch. One part down trying to figure what to order next.
