Hi All,

I am looking at a 2006 EX sedan with <6K miles on it. I can get it for less than $19K. Good deal or not? It's only about $1100 less than a new one here in Gainesville, but $1100 is $1100, you know.

I have been reading some review on the car and have come across some people(both consumer and pro journalists) complaining about about the hand brake handle. It apaprently "jabs" them in the right knee and it can get quite painful. Anybody else come across this? I have test driven the new civic about 6 times and have not noticed it but a 10 minute test drive might not show this.

One last one....What kind of MPG are we seeing on the 2006 and up? Please chime in and try and indicate driving style(sedate or psycho) and type(city, hwy, combined).

I used to own one and it was only uncomfortable for me becuase I am taller and like to rest my knee kinda over by the counsel area. It wasnt bad but it was a minor annoyance. My wife never had that problem, but she is only 5'4" and I am 6'1". Just get up to speed and get comfortable if you notice it then it may annoy you otherwise they are a great car.
