Possibly a soon to be Civic owner.
Well as gas prices rise, it's time for something to take the place of my 4x4 12mpg truck as my daily driver. Now I know what you're gonna say, but that's not the only reason I'm buying something new. I also have two children under two and I need something a little more reliable. I am looking at around an 08-10 sedan. Not gonna lie. I really don't know much about these cars, except for what I have heard from friends and read on Edmunds. Some of the main questions that I hope to answer on here include; What kind of mileage can I expect driving mostly freeway?, What is "high mileage" in the newer civics? ie are these still 200k+ cars with few problems?, Are there any specific things I need to watch out for in those years?, ect. I don't really plan on doing alot to this car. maybe swap out the intake and exhaust if I find that it might help a little. Anywho, I am sure that there is plenty of knowledge on here. I will try my best to search the archives before posting a new thread. Thanks in advance for all of your help.
