Thanks Roto. Changing the ABS control system out is probably too much of a PITA to be worth the trouble. I have been leaning towards the EX despite the headroom issue but now I'm just curious.

Like anything else, I'm sure it can bedone if I'm willing to throw enough money at it.

It's probably cheaper and easier to change out the front seats.

If I took a look at the cars side by side I would tell for sure...it could be a matter of swapping prop valves out...but for that I'll need the cars side by side...

The ex also has vtec and that gives the car more power over the lx.
no, the dx/lx/ex all have the same motor for 06/07, and they all have i-VTEC

Off the original topic now.

Has this engine been in any other Hondas/Acuras?
Would mods for those vehicles work on this one?
I have noticed a definite lack of mods for the current engine which I assume is due to the newness. Is there another vehicle/year combo I should check out?

I don't want much right away as it is a daily driver for work and such but I am thinking a few years down the road. I am sure by that time other stuff will be available though.

Thanks for the help.

the R18 is a brand new engine...you just have to wait a year or two before serious aftermarket comes up for it

you may not want to hear this but, yes, rear brakes make a ton of difference between the two cars as far as stopping feel and performance.
