RE: Starting A Hobbie
if you people are paying over 150/MO for your insurance (at least in the US) SHOP AROUND!!!! it never hurts to shop around. im paying a little over 100/mo with a clean record, in one of the countries hot spots for auto theft, on one of the hottest cars for auto theft. and thats with Progressive, not even some cheesy little local place.

Well yeah I will shop around tomarrow thinking of driving to the big city about 60 miles away. I know there is a big Honda dealership up there the only downfall is I think they don't take trade-ins and won't have any older models there, but I figure I might check it out also gas is like $3.00 / gallon here I know it is low compared to California and Florida and New York and such but I still cannot afford filling up gas everyday.

Don't buy from a dealership, it'll cost you $2000- $5000 more than privately. Plus, I don't know where you're from, but here in Canada, if we buy from a dealer, we have to pay an extra 7% tax..........RIPOFF!

You will prolly get a lower price privately, but most dealership will give you some kind of waruntee plus the used vehicles are certified at a dealership. So... it all depends on your preference.

first off WELCOME TO HCF!! You should shop around. Im 22 and when i bought my civic i had quotes anywhere from 140 to 275 some companies will really try to take you for a ride cause your younger and others while not the best arent AS bad. And people prefer the SI's because they are teh top of the line civic's, have a bigger VTEC and a little more options.
