My friend bought a gsr some thing is wrong with his motor. I have a civic ex d16z6 i can keep up with him on city streets and on the high way i pull on him. his vtec opens up you can hear it but it just doesnt perform like it should. My other friends gsr hatch is fast as hell as soon as his vtec opens the rps sky rocket to the redline and the car pulls like crazy like most do but the other motor just doesnt. there is no hesitaiton or nothing it has a 2 1/2 inch exhaust we thought this might be the problem but even so my civic should not keep up with his has anyone had this problem before if not would you happen to know whats wrong he has a sri full headers back exhaust and a stage 2 4 puck clutch. his fuel pressure guage reads 40 psi. we have no idea how many miles the car has on it b/c it has a jdm dash the guy said it was like 60 k on it but who knows for sure weve already changed the vtec sylinode.
