Default Wanting more HP

I just got a new civic and the only engine mods done to it are a AEM intake, strut bar and exhaust im not sure if its the full exhaust or just the tip. I have a 96 cx hb and I plan on switching my D series y7 non vtec head(sohc I believe) to a y8 vtec head. I also want to add headers, air intake manifold, throddle body, maybe a new camshaft.. whatever will help boost my hp without adding a turbo. I was thinking:

DC headers - what model is needed for my 96 honda civic hatch back cx which will be getting a y8 head
what should I go with for my tb, exhaust and intake manifold ?

If anyone has any links where to get a mini me swap for a good price I would really appreciate that, I am located in Canada though.

Thanks for the help,

TiKeR

well for starters anything that would attach to the block you buy Y7, for the head Y8. and please before you attach the Y8 head go all the way and do a port and polish. look in summit, im not joking they have a really good price manifold and throttle body combo deals.

Alright I checked out the prices on ebay and it seems DC headers sit at about 300$ average (canadian). Is that really that much better than purchasing one from a local store? There also seems to be some cheap knock off "DC-S" headers which range from 5$-30$.. I don't think I'd buy one of them. Also what is the best type of header to go with.. a 4-2-1 or a 4-1-1? Finally for the intake manifold and TB what brands should I go with.. skunk2 ? I'm not sure..

I found a couple of d16y8 heads on ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.ca/D16y8-head-ported...QQcmdZViewItem

http://cgi.ebay.ca/92-95-96-00-honda...ayphotohosting

and then a sweet cover:

What do u think? One of the heads doesnt come with a cam, but I'd prolly put in an aftermarket cam anyways..

I did up my valve cover with a Dremel and hi temperature paint. Cost me $10 including clearcoat.
