So im just wondering... were did u all learn everything about cars? ... I am 18, just got my first car and am learning a bit... however slower than i want to... I understand interior now... (i pulled it all apart).. and i put in a new rad.. but im scared to even think about an engine swap... hahah, but actually. My dads no way into cars, other than having a big truck and hauling stuff.so im basically learning from tearing stuff apart/hondacivicforum/honda-tech...., anyone got any suggestions on where i could learn more about engines/engineswaps? thanks..

 

There are schools that you can go to, or just keep on searching the internet or this forum. Welcome by the way.

 

i learn about cars when i was a kid..my dad used to own a body shop
and i used to play around at his body shop when i was a kid
but of course technology changes from time to time...
i start to mod my first car when i was at your age
and i am 31 now..i have got a family car..which by the way u
can see and i still cant forget how crazy i was/ am into cars
thats why i decide to buy a civic hatchback as a weekend car with a project b16a engine
a car i have been dreaming to have and now i can finally afford...

Sounds like you are on the right path.I also worked at my fathers shop at a young age.You can take college coarses.

 

i learned from just trying to do something for the first time. i also learned from just reading a lot of forums and websites. there are many people on this forum that have done many things to their cars, so you can ask them as well. there are a lot of resources around here and on the web

i learner thru my Auto and Manufacturing classes throughout highschool, then i started browsing forums too. another good way is learn by doing....or learning from your mistakes....then theres learning from my friends too....but it helps if they somewhat no what theyre doing too....
